Super Famicom/Nintendo! I think I was maybe 10-years old, or 9 maybe? I forgot. But it was soooo amazing! I got ActRaiser like this:

Lucky youu hahaha. Looks addicting and reminds me of herc's adventures that I was grinding for the ps1 back then. It's also similar to yours. The last time I played nintendo when I was 7-8 years old at a friends house. My first console was the sega saturn when I was 6 until I discovered the ps1 which was trendy back then.

I started on Famicom/NES and kind of lost interest after games went all 3D. I still think Super Mario World is a way better game than Super Mario 64.
