No! I have had the money, while it’s nice at first to be able to get whatever you want, when you want it… no saving, no sacrifice, not even needing to wait! It doesn’t mean nearly as much to you! Jus as an example, Some people dream their whole life of owning a Rolex, and they save for years and years, eventually they get the Rolex, and believe me that watch is absolutely treasured! Other people just on a whim, say “yeah what the heck, i like the stainless one, oh and screw it, let’s get the 18k gold one as well, after all you never know when a formal dinner is coming up!” Shopping is fun, sure, but it gets monotonous after a while, so no! I can’t refuse my trust but I can donate my annual allowance, and my monthly. Live on what I earn as a rape and sexual abuse counselor… believe me, everything I own will mean so much more, if I’ve worked hard for it! Like I have since I bought this house and moved out of my parents! Having all the money you could ever want or need to spend your days shopping AND having the money, to be able to buy whatever you want… you think it solves your problems! All it does is replace your old problems with brand new problems, you never even considered before!
i shop a lot. I’ve come to terms that I have an unhealthy relationship with shopping. I could have $20 to my name but if I see something online or in store and have enough for it I’ll
Get it usually. And often once I see something I want, it drives me crazy and I can’t stop thinking about it till I get it. Now with that said, my bills are paid, I have money saved, I always have money for food and gas, yes I may push it sometimes, but as long as everything is getting paid, it could be worse. Also I am sometimes able to talk sense into myself and not spend so much money on shopping, but like I said I do struggle with it so sometimes I’m unable or make impulsive shopping choices.
I'm a salesman's nightmare.
My ''shopping'' is planned; I go out to get what I need (or want)- there's no pleasure to it.
I see a ''Can I help you'' as an attack on my freedom :D
Online shopping (and marketing) or looking for ''bargains'' that aren't 'on my list' is a pestilence to me, if not a harassment.
My consumer habits in an example: recently, friends announced to drop by; so I needed to buy three extra drinking glasses. I ignored the 4-pack on the shelf.
The other day (a little while back) I had some good spare money and decided to ''afford'' me something. I left the shopping mall after some 1 1/2 hours - with a pack of shaving razor blades.
I used to love going to malls when I was a little kid. I never bought anything, but I dreamed a lot.
Now that I'm an adult, I don't know if I would go back to browsing malls again. It might be nice to do once or twice. But I think I would prefer to spend that time playing sports instead.
Having said that, I probably would not pass up the opportunity to browse in an electronics store or a music store, since those are two of my greatest passions.
I used to really love book stores as well. (Still do.)
Thanks for the MHO.

Oh I love shopping!
I used to have a very good job that paid pretty well and I bought newest, the most stylish things ALL THE TIME, rarely wore two things twice and was nicknamed many things
“Fashion babe”
”Rich girl”
Lol
That was a good time.
Not constantly, lol. That'd get boring.
I love shopping haven't done it as much due to covid and not being in the states. I usually go shopping every season. I'll usually go on a huge ass shopping spree whenever i go home to the lower 48 and visit friends.
I'm only a big fan of the fall/winter clothes here.
I shop only when necessary… but I do splurge on skincare! A girl’s gotta get that glowing skin somehow, lol!
If I had money for a shopping spree I would either be rational and save it OR I’d act reckless and actually go on a shopping spree, lol. That being said, my parents have always encouraged me to be responsible with money. Frugality is always the best for me, personally.
No. What would I buy and where would I put all the stuff?
I'm not into walking around, looking at displays in stores, and impulse buying. Consumerism is lame.
If I had the money, though, there are some things I'd like to by for my home.
I am a shopaholic because I don’t repeat my clothes except my working outfit. I shop every week, mostly online. I have high passion in fashion and love wearing different designs of clothing.
shopaholic :P
No why buy stuff you don't need or had time to enjoy. It certainly easier to spend than earn so I could always upgrade.
I hate shopping but have to do a lot of it cause of my kids
I don't shop much. But if I had unlimited funds I would probably buy stuff for my kids. I have 2 under 3yrs old, they have a lot of hand me downs and second hand clothes and toys. When we do buy new it's sales/clearance
I don't really have anything I want to buy. Usually, I just buy things like food and new clothes if my old ones start getting holes in them. I might buy a new computer if I had a bunch of extra money.
I think I'm probably close to like 1/10 on the shopping scale. I never actually go shopping in the sense of looking around for things to buy. I only go to the shops when I have something I really want or need to buy like a new pair of shoes. I'm also very efficient. I go in, pick out a new pair of shoes, try it on, buy, done, 10 mins tops.
I haven't done this in years but one thing I do enjoy is browsing around in bookstores while flipping through the books. I think that might be what I'd do if I went on a shopping spree is hang out at a bookstore. Also like a DVD rental store: I like to browse around a lot to pick out films to rent.
Not a fan. I go into a store knowing what I want, buy it and get the heck out of there.
I get what I need unless it’s Black Friday then I might over shop and sometimes I haven’t even worn these real nice clothes in like 2 to 3 years
I own a law firm I have money
But I am also minimalist
nope... I am not into consumerism at all
on a scale of 1-10…. I’d say 5 lol
Only as needed.
I look for good deals always
I despise it
It depends what for. Clothing? Not really.
I love shopping.
I haven't enough money
I hate shopping.
