The Civic LX which I bought last summer is a fine car, though I know an Accord is a higher end machine. It has less road noise and is roomier than the Civic.

But the gas mileage savings with the Civic is what I'm buying. Accords are larger and heavier with bigger engines, so they lose on mileage.

A Civic/Accord hybrid would be the bomb. Nicer finish, quieter, but engine smaller to get better gas mileage.

Honda CR-V! Just bought a real cheap 2003 model, 2 litre petrol auto. Spent 2k Euros on new parts. Got a terrific car for 3k Euros.

Of the two would go Honda Civic Type R.

In reality though for that price point I would stick to Golf R or Audi S3 (or RS3), both offer better driveability with AWD and power.

I think the body's changed quite drastically it depends on what year it is I guess but no matter which one it is you're going to win Hondas makes the best products ever

Accord is bigger, civc is smaller. I've had my Honda Accord 2013 for almost 10 years next year, its been fine. I've seen Honda Accords from the 1990s or early 2000s on the road working fine. They're excellent cars

I had two Honda Civics for years before I switched to Toyota Corolla.

I will admit an Accord is nicer than a Civic but it costs more (more to insure too) and gets poorer gas mileage.

The accord is like a luxury car. The civic is just as nice looking (2mee) but more of a good a2b transpo.

I'd take the accord. Its more spacious and has the option for a V6 which is the smallest engine I'd ever buy with my own money.

Because they think they are fast, even the NSX is slow, and overpriced…. Everything that Honda puts out is overpriced and slow. Every car that has ever cut me off has been an accord or civic…. And I’ve lived in multiple states, it’s always a Honda always

I'd rather have an Accord. I've had three. But I drive a CRV. 30-31 mpg out of this car and I just love it.

I’ve had a couple civics and I like them a lot. Never really tried an accord so it’s hard to give a fair judgement lol

Never been a fan of Hondas. I'm kind of partial to American cars (Dodge specifically). I would buy a Honda at the right price. But Honda's are overpriced in my mind.

Can make a choice between civic and accord cos of i dont like both. If i have make a choice an Honda car it will be absolutly NSX or S2000.
