Am I the only one buy these solar yard decorations and lights only to find out half of them don't work?

I bought some solar lights to put along the sidewalk a couple years ago. They all worked for a few days and then some of them stopped working. Turns out the battery they put in them is junk. I put good rechargeable batteries in them and they worked for a couple years, until we no longer liked them.

They don't work because the solar powered battery that charges during the day is usually drained by the time proper darkness falls
