HELP What is targets return poilcy? Can I return this item at target?

Don’t say call or look online I tried calling and no one answers never. I bought this plastic storage drawer thing & was on sale. It was $17 and discounted for $12.75. It doesn’t fit in my closet and don’t like it. I have the reciecpt only and no tags as it’s somewhere in the trash bin lost outside. Can I return it with just the reciept? I don’t want go inside the store with that big drawer container and then they reject me from returning. Do they accept returns if the item was on sale?

If something was bought on sale or at a discounted price I don't think you can return or exchange 'cause it's usually final sale

Y online it says target accepts returns even for items on sale? Is that not true?

If you bought it online then you can see if you can initiate a return, have a shipping label printed and return it my mail. if you bought it in store you should just go back to the same location and try that way. Either way you're going to end up lugging the thing around

If it was in a resalable condition (with scan tag still in place), with receipt you might have stood a chance at getting back what you paid for it. You chose to keep it by removing the tag.

Yes. It’s more annoying with new items that shrink in the wash. At least you can still use the container. Maybe sell it to a neighbor?
