Would you rather get a Subaru, Honda or Toyota?
We've been partial to Toyota for a long time. Honda is good, except I'm not very comfortable with their seating. We had a Subaru for years, and it was the most reliable car we ever had. It was great on gas mileage, always reliable, and fantastic in the snow. It seemed to be an idiot magnet though, it was always getting hit. That's how it finally died, a head-on collision with a dumbass who crossed the line >

It didn't deserve this. We loved this car! 20 Reply

Those are the things that I would take from and depending on what kind of traveling you do and stuff like that is what I would base my purchase on but they're all good front-wheel drive cars they're all made excellent they all last for a long time if you take care of them but if you're thinking about getting a car either get a used one and run it till it dies or just save a little bit more money and get electric one cuz you don't want to go buy a new car and in 4 years you can't sell it and but you still owe $20,000 on it so you got to think about that buy something used until you can afford an electric car or do some research and see about the ammonia gas that they're predicting that's going to be the next big thing you better buy stock if it is

+1 yI find all Subaru’s ugly with the exception of the 2022 Legacy. The only appealing Honda is the Accord. I choose Toyota since I like their Tacoma, Camry (2008), Highlander, 4Runner and Venza. The Prius is still one of the ugliest cars ever made tho. But overall, I prefer more stuff from Kia, Chevy, Ford, BMW, Jeep, Mustang, Nissan, or Dodge

Im judging off looks not performance
+1 yNow I would go with a Subaru if I had to have a car. I’ve always been a fan of Toyota.. up until the last decade. Quality drop and prices still rise. I do not like Honda aftercare service. They do not stand behind their lemon products. They had to pay extra for that mistake.

+1 yIf I had the money, probably a Subaru. I got a Toyota since they're the most affordable, easy to fix, and have a good reputation of lasting 10 years.
Suburbs are also pretty good, and most come with AWD as opposed to just FWD, and a zipper engine. They're like 8 -10k more expensive and that's just money I don't have.12 Reply- +1 y
What kind of Toyota vehicle do you drive?
- +1 y
2015 prius c
The short answer is yes. Subaru is a really fun brand compared to Toyota or Honda. When you think of Honda, you think of every day family type transport but Subaru are more edgy. You think rally cars and and adventures. However, Toyota actually offer the best off road vehicles of any brand. A Toyota Land Cruiser absolutely shits on every other vehicle in its class. If you're going offroad, the Toyota Land Cruiser is the vehicle for you. The performance and reliability is second to none.
But I digress. Yes, I like Subaru. They're not boring, reliable cars, they're fun, sporty cars and you don't really know what you're getting.

+1 yHonda or Toyota. They will last longer. Subaru’s start having problems around 60k miles usually ( former subaru salesman)
Toyota has the lowest cost of ownership and has been in the book of world records for highest odometer reading. Hondas also last pretty dang long.
Though it is hard to argue that Subaru has some of the best AWD out there. So if you live in an area with lots of snow. Subaru is a great option.23 Reply- +1 y
Mpg wise the matrix would be better. Cargo space wise the rav4 will be the better bet. What you gotta do here is what we call the ben Franklin close. Or in simple terms pros and cons. Do you want a few more miles per gallon or is the better cargo room more important? Also the rav4 will be more capable in inclement weather should you live in a snowy area.
+1 yI have owned all 3. I used to sell Subaru's have been working for Subaru for the past 7 years and I do prefer them over anything else I have driven. Safety wise they are top rated and the AWD far surpasses just about anything else out there apart from Audi.
30 ReplyNo. She's a narcissitic, stupid feminist with no empathy or respect for anyone.
... Oh, you mean the car? No, not really. Toyota is better and so is Honda.

*I mean that in a good way
+1 ySubaru! It looks amazing but performs better by far (at least for off-road). It's perfect because they have stylish versions, that are faster, have better agility, quicker acceleration, and are much safer. That's why Subarus are often in off-road racing which is really dangerous.

On that token. I would rather have my current car. A 2022 Ford Lightening. (electric truck)
- +1 y
Oh you have the electric truck? ! ? ! Is it great? Was it affordable?
- +1 y
its pretty awesome... But, It was expensive. You could buy a decent house where i live for what it cost me.

Shit I mean where there's a will I guess
Yes I like Subaru, they make good cars.
But like all cars they have their issues.
But if you get me a Toyota Ae-86 in good condition, I'd likely drive that. But they are rare and old, so doubtful.10 Reply
+1 yHonestly it would be great if you had Nissan as a option like a skyline or gtr. However a Toyota supra is a great option in my opinion.

@Shamalien Whats not reliable about it?
- +1 y
@Shamalien What about a nissan gtr
- +1 y
@Shamalien Or a honda civic
- +1 y
Nissan was bought by fiat 20 years ago and has been going downhill ever since. They drive nice and look cool but I wouldn’t buy one. Hondas are a great option if you go for the manual transmission and the civic is the most reliable. Generally speaking though the newer cars are all planned obsolescence so try for something 10 years old with low mileage in my opinion

@Shamalien What about a v8 swapped tesla
- +1 y
@Shamalien Some youtuber made a video putting a v8 in a tesla because tesla wouldn't give him motors.
+1 yNissan is the only way. Fuck the rest. Unless you're a soyboy

I've owned both Honda and Subaru, and I have many friends who swear by Toyota. I think you'll do well with any of them. Neither the Honda nor the Subaru have given me any trouble.

They are cool. Yes

@Shamalien I thought the Tacomas were Texas built
- +1 y
@Shamalien when did that change?
The Subarus with that stupid opposable cylinder "boxer" engine are pieces of shit that always blow head gaskets. Get a Honda.
