I ordered some super fancy donuts and bought myself a knock off Louis Vuitton tracksuit NOT BECAUSE it was knockoff LV but because I liked the colours so I bought it in spite of it. I've been doing a full face of makeup as my wake up routine after making my bed. I'm going back to a paleo-leaning diet and am done with all the bullshit.

I find treating myself to be depressing and a false facade of happiness.

I have a friend who evey now and then blows a lot of money and says "I'm treating myself I've been working so hard".

I think he's just justifying blowing money.

Personally I have no problem spending money on my own leisure but I don't dress it up as something else.
I'm just blowing money and that's that.

I went to an H Mart (Asian Supermarket) and closed my eyes, opened my wallet, and bought a ton of Korean food to try that I'd seen in a couple of videos. I love food and to cook, so to me, a food adventure, is always a treat.

I treated myself with a Prime Rib at (medium) at Ruth's Chris along with a marinated broiled lobster tail and a Caesar Salad, served with a Chenin Blanc table wine. I rarely treat myself but this was pretty good. Almost a day's pay.

Depends what you consider "treating". My guess is we have very differing views on what a treat is.

Treats are small to me. And are fairly often. Beyond that know I don't treat myself to anything really big because little things satisfy me.

The only treatment I used to het was a haircut. Woth the pandemic,. I did not want to do that and started giving myself a haircut. Its been 2 1/2 years and I have never gone to someone else for a haircut.

Only other treatment I can think of is foing to the restaurants for treatment of my stomach.

As well as I possibly can without indulging in extreme forms material acquisitions. I like the simple life, and I try to ensure that it stays that way. I would say that my family and friends probably go over the top occassionally, but, in order not to modify my simple approach to life to a radical extent, I do not try to impact on their behaviour. They are free to do as they please, and I have to be gracious about their good intentions.

I don’t spend a lot of money on myself. Hardly eat out. I spare no expense with my dog. But I can’t justify spending money on myself. Last time was when I got my phone like a year ago. If it’s for the household or will make things easier like a vacuum it’s no issue but for something just for me I can’t justify it. For example it’s been 2 weeks since my tv kicked the bucket I can afford another one but won’t get it because I’m the only one that uses it.
