And since it's untested, who knows what the long-term impacts are going to be? He would not at all be willing to risk long-term damage just for that.

At least in smaller temperature ranges, say not lower than 30°C, it was tested and shown to increase fertility.

And that was a troll post, to get the sperm system completely infertile it has to get really really cold. So cold that it's probably no different than castration as a whole.

Exactly lol I'm sure if you get it just the perfect temperature and are perfectly consistent, you could use some sort of cold therapy that's just below being cold enough to permanently damage you, which is why I agreed that there might be something to it. But yeah realistically there's no way lol

Well I already built a testicular refrigeration suit for myself, at least when it gets to the point when they start sweating, if the relay doesn't flip the switch then I can manually. And that's at least preventing the proven detrimental effect of overheating.
In beetles, sperm length was really short if they spent most of their developmental periods at 17°C but it was longest when they developed at 27°C. Testes size was only slightly larger at colder temperatures, so if I identify as a beetle then you can say "follow the science and get your testes to stay 17°C for increased size."
