What is a good house warming gift?

My friend is moving into a new apartment and she’s throwing a little house warming get together. She mentioned to me that she wanted my old used candles as a house warming gift and I told her I’m not giving her some used candles as a gift. I had intended on giving her a bucket of nice cleaning supplies as a gift because she never seemed to have any at her old house but I don't know if that seems shady.
