Any recommendations for a heated blanket?

I prefer a heated mattress pad, actually. I don't use one now that our house isn't so drafty but I did have one before. I really only had it on before getting in bed as my body heat would maintain temperature after that. Only on bitterly cold and windy North Dakota nights would I leave it on all night.

I want a twin or throw size to use in my living room since I have wood floors that get so cold

Lay it out on your bed and sit on it for about an hour or two. When you jump into bed for the night, the blanket's nice and warm. For extra heat, fart on it a few times.

It's a brand called handy heater, I think. It is machine washable. I haven't tried it yet to give a rec one way or the other. It was something my husband picked up while he was out shopping at home depot, so... we'll see - lol

check the Westinghouse heated blankets... the more reliable the better, you can wash them, so that's a big plus, they have timers, so that's safer... and the temperature is adjustable, and they're also light and soft, if you're into that...
