Most of the time, yes. Some things I don't need, but feel like I do because they are nice like a decoration or kitchen tool, a plant for the yard, or maybe a coffee (those run about $3 and seem like a monumental waste of money).

It used to be physically painul for me to buy even necessities.

Now, I'm better, but I went a bit spendthrift, so I'm clawing it back.

But it's hard not to spend money as an adult, lol.
