My parents and I ordered flowers, but the florist delivered bad ones. My aunt was hoping for another gift. I don’t have much money, however, I suggested a new book, which sounds interesting, to which she agreed. I can stretch to a new $25 book and a $2 birthday card. Should I add anything else? I can’t really afford a lot of nice things right now, for other people. I could squeeze out another $10. What could I buy for $10?

Hmm let me think... since you're already getting her the book and card, I wouldn't stress too much about adding more gifts. Aunts understand if we can't splash out, you know?
Maybe you could pair the book with something small she could use or enjoy. Here are some $10 ideas that come to mind:
- Bundle of her favorite candies/chocolates - everyone loves a sweet treat!
- Cute mug and coffee/tea - perfect for cozy nights reading her new book
- Nice pen or note set - practical items she may appreciate
- Floral soap/lotion set - a little luxury for the bath
- Fun magazine subscription card - great for when she finishes the book
- Gift card for her fave coffee shop
You could also see if there's a inexpensive book accessory like a bookmark or book light she'd get use from. Mostly I'm sure she'll just be happy you thought of her! Don't stress too much, I'm sure the book and card will make her happy.
I like your idea and you cab buy here some chocolates.:)
