Spend on Fomo collectables that now can be sold and worth more.
So yeah spend always. I keep thinking oh it feels good to keep money though but when I calculate it in the long run I have more money in form of assets.
Which when sold bring me back more so why would I hold onto my money.

Now if I had tons of money and a bank was giving me quite a bit of interest then sure that would be safer and better maybe but even then? Nah not really. And ya know the government tax you then.
Meanwhile I could theoretically get to the point I have asset value to the gain above taxing line if I had that all in money but because I don't there is no such tax.

I proved what I “need” and continue on with my life.

everyone likes a Ferrari but do they really “need” it? No.

It doesn’t even provide comfort, it’s just a void feeling machine.

Both. But I tend to spend as needed more than wanted. Though I do get things I or my wife want because I can and it's funny seeing people's expressions when I buy a "expensive" thing with cash

Yes, both. I spend when it makes sense to spend, when I get good value for what I'm buying, and when I can afford it. I also save... for those times when it's appropriate to spend.

I like to save it. Since Covid happened and I really so not do anything I have saved a lot of money. I spent quite a bit on home improvements but still have a healthy bank account.

As my cousin Robert said, "Money exists to be spent." That being said, I mostly spent on leisure stuff. I don't spend it on things like bills, rent, groceries and gasoline.
