Last weekend. I got two Starbucks drinks. My dad got 2 lobsters. I got 2 pairs of pants and a night gown that looks professional enough to be used as an outdoor dress. My dad got a temperature modifier for cooling the summer heat. Then we went home for dinner. I believe my dad bought a dish from a Chinese restaurant and that over 75% of their customers buy the dish every time they visit that restaurant. It’s their best menu item.

  So would I be right in thinking that your country town is not a full and purposeful shopping centre?
  
  As you know I live on the outskirts of a very small village, so I therefore have about a forty minute drive to the nearest major shopping city... Which I normally have to do at least once a fortnight if only to get the children more clothing... Naturally it goes without saying that whilst I'm there I do tend to browse and possibly treat myself!

  @EmmaMary Not many shops here. I can drive into the city, but with the parking chaos and all the traffic hassles, it can seem like a hassle.

  I'm the complete opposite in that I cannot always tolerate the hassle and inconvenience in having to package things up and returning them when not suitable.
