I love them, from the meth heads you will always see out back, to the same products. They're like an extension of waffle house, standardizing the suburb experience one city at a time.
But yeah, they're awesome, like an amazon for cheaper knick knacks, no shipping cost, no wait, and 20-50% off. Combine that with Wal-Mart for food/alcohol, and you're pretty set on the cheap shit to keep alive and entertained front.
Maybe add Goodwill in if you're feeling frisky. Get those paisley shirts, and dress like a pimp while you get your girls their orange drinks from dollar general, and breakfast at waffle house at 3AM
I'm feeling tempted now lol
I occasionally shop at dollar stores, more for something to do than with a list of things to buy. There are some interesting things at the dollar store.
Jay Leno (The Tonight Show) used to occasionally review things you can buy at the 99-cent store. There were some very interesting things.

I use to love dollar tree but then they started charging $1.25. Honestly a lot of stuff there isn't worth it and sometimes can be found cheaper at Walmart. I only go now for a few specific items
I don't believe they should be called dollar stores anymore. They have good savings a lot of the time but I never see anything that is a dollar.

That's more my mother's thing. I don't have a problem with dollar tree and I almost always buy something whenever I go there with say, my mom. But the problem I have with dollar tree and why I don't frequent it, is because I don't shop to shop. I'm not necessarily bargain shopping (though I do like a good bargain). I'm purpose shopping. I don't particularly like shopping. So I like to know what I want, where I can buy it, and get in and get out. I don't feel like dollar tree is anything but shelves of bargains with no rhyme or reason. Again, not my thing.
Those type of stores market themselves as being cheap. But they rarely are. The large majority of what they sell can be found cheaper at other places, especially if you wait for a sale.
I very rarely go to those kind of stores. I'm a cheap-ass and know prices pretty well. I very rarely see good deals there. And I don't want to hunt through hundreds of things to find the rare good deal. It's just not worth the time.
I think they're a pretty nice convenience. They basically have the same prices as Walmart. I don't really care if I pick up sponges from there or Walmart. There's some stuff you can find a bit more easily at dollar stores that might take a little longer to find at Walmart though.
Like a newspaper Dollars Stores are slowly becoming a thing of the past & in a few years if not sooner I wouldn’t be surprised if they close completely.
I love them for random small items. We used to have one called Tal-lira which sold things for 1 lira (old local currency not to be confused with Italian Lira.. it's around 2.33 euros), they still exist but their items are not randomly priced.
We shop at dollar tree regularly. My wife got a lot of her craft projects there before she went in the hospital. If you're price conscious, you'll know what is a bargain and what isn't there.
We don't have them , either in Australia or Thailand , but I have followed the corporate stories however and I would have no problem shopping there.
I felt a bit disappointed when all 99 store got closed. I like dollar stores for their convenience if I want some cheap stuff I don't really use often.
I've never been in one.
I can't imagine there being anything in dollar stores that I would need or want.
I go in sometimes. There is a job lot store that I shop in a lot. They buy overstocks and inventory from stores that go out of business and other off price merchandise.
I like it because it doesn’t have bubble price. I like to buy candy, bread, dishes, cleaner, electrics, birthday card.
Not their biggest fan. But they serve a purpose. I stop in occasionally for things I need but aren’t that important to me.
Sometimes, I mainly go in to buy a snack, or basic things
It's a good place to shop you get what you pay for.
I love dollar stores, they're filled with bargains.
I shop at Dollar General a lot because it is the ONLY store in town.
They're OK for small items, not so much for most expensing things.
they are fine for basic items, but at a lower cost.
At work I’m a Dollar Tree 💃
Can be good for certain cleaning products, but I would not buy food from one.
I don't think they are truly "dollar" stores anymore.
There is no store in our country
Doesn't exist here - i would like them 🏬🏪
i like Dollar tree
Is it like a pound shop?
Oh I did think it was just never clarified it, can be way cheaper here but also some stuff is usually broken or faulty in some way I guess you get what you pay for hey
They lower the price by one dollar lmao
I like them.
