Years ago, I loved shopping for fishing equipment.
Tools also, I guess.
They're the only types of shopping that I've ever enjoyed.
Grocery shopping and clothes shopping sucks.
Now I'm old and feeble.
I no longer shop at all.10 Reply

1 yIt all depends on what I’m shopping for I kind of just like exploring and I like seeing odd things if that makes sense I love boutiques. I likes having things that nobody really has. That’s what makes it fun. I like thrift shops.

Thank you thank you that goes for everything even furniture as well because when you’re in your house, you want to be comfortable you want things to make a statement you want conversation pieces to build or create stuff. I worked on a lot of projects by myself or with my father it makes it, all worth it reuse Rebuild recycle
Asker1 yLike what kind of projects? 🤔

1 yI used to like- really, I did. When I was a kid, I remember going into the local Western Tire and Auto with my dad, or Kresge's with my mom. The store workers knew where everything was and would usually even walk you over to the item. At the local food store, we'd say hi to Fran- the produce weighing lady- when we got the bananas at 7 to 9¢ a pound. Silvercup Bread offered free small mini-loaves - about the size of a large hot dog bun- to shoppers. Got to buy an actual sport jacket at Richman's and get fitted by someone who knew how to fit clothes.
Lately, shopping is a pain in the rear, particularly food shopping. Before, most stores had reasonably similar prices with several specials that offered about a 20-30% savings. Now, so much food is so ridiculously overpriced that if it isn't available for at least 60% off at conventional food stores, I just refuse to buy most of it. I ALWAYS keep a running mental total of the bill at food stores and usually hit within a dime or two what the total will be. If it misses, I have the checker start looking for what "the system" missed. It used to be so easy - you get a flyer, rip off the coupons at the bottom, buy your food, give them coupons, done. Now? OMG - Create a list online the day before the sale starts, pull up the items on sale day, search through virtual coupons, clip each one of fifteen flavors of whatever you want to be sure you didn't miss the one you might buy, go shop, click on each one as you put it in the basket, have "the system" miss at least one- Mariano being one of the worst- call the manager to unscrew the mess, etc.
Shopping for clothing in "clothing stores" is a pain since they are now even sub-divided by body area (almost as much as my doctors). Shoes and socks - one store. T-shirts- another store. Pants- yet another. Yes, of course, there are still stores that carry a full range of clothing, but Walmarts in our area turn my gut when I enter. Kohl's and other full-lines? Seriously overpriced and not REALLY full-line. Dress for Less and other discount houses? Just carry leftovers that never sold at the other stores.
Of course, the hay-days of the serious brick-and-mortar stores are long gone, and so many items are now bought "sight unseen" over the web, and I'm not even going to venture into THAT quagmire!

1 yI'm not a fan. It wold be easy if it was just for me, but I have to consider a family and their wants and needs. I'd just buy chicken, beef, and eggs. Vegetables are for fags. But I'm married and shit and the kids like shit like baby carrots. He should eat jerky but whatever.
Is what it is. I do my best and I'm not fucking perfect.
10 Replyif it's online shopping yes... physical shopping is just so draining lol

Asker1 yWell online is the most comfortable way, it's just click click, first to mention online shopping tho lol

Physical shopping will probably be fazed out gradually by the 2060s completely lol - those malls built 1980s or 2000s will be due for retirement if not the current malls of 2010s built

Give it enough of another 40-50 years lol 😆
Not really. Maybe if I had more money I would. But I look at so many items and just cringe at the price nowadays.

oh well i actually forgot to mention that the clothes are secret invisibility clothes 👗, the pumps have a hidden dagger in the heel 👠, the perfume is actually knockout gas 🌸💨, and the jewelry actually hides radio transmitters 💍
🥷🏻👀
Asker1 yWell... this barbie didn't come with instructions, what exactly do I do with this information now? When I heard a barbie that can make her own decisions I was intrigued but never would I have guessed it was a invisibly cloaked up, blade wielding, gas throwing EMP barbie 🤯
