My parents gave me a car when I got my drivers' license in 1970 when I was 16. It was a '66 Rambler American. Nothing fancy. But a couple years later, my dad bought a new car and gave me his '63 Buick LeSabre. THAT was an awesome car.

In around 1994, I won a really nice, rear projection TV worth $2000. They were the cutting edge thing back then. I had that for years.

A couple years ago, I won a Sig P-380 pistol worth $1000.

I inherited several thousand $ when my dad passed away. And my wife inherited several thousand $ when her dad passed away. I don't remember the amounts. But both of those inheritances helped us out.

A transparent pawn, given to me by the sidewalk, randomly. The street didn't know what it gave me, it's unlikely I pass this one on, as it is personal. I don't even play chess. Yet the fact it is a pawn AND a transparent one, I don't know, interpretations, symbols... It made me smile.
