I really do not do Christmas shopping , no gifts exchanged and that's the best thing we ever did , get rid of the ludicrous idea of exchange..
But , happy with the celebration , just refuse to make it about useless gifts , family and friends , good will to all should be the goal.

I sent them all digitally (shop items linked: "You're getting this." and so on) this time. My group of friends and family had decided it could be fun and sky was the limit on cost and creativity that way as they were fictional gifts. Turned out to be fun.

I'm usually don't by end of October. But I gave up having Christmas last year. My teens have no interest and so ungrateful. So I've got to do some but I just can't be bothered and haven't done any yet.

  @RageBabe year before last they didn't want to help with decorations nothing. Only wanted the presents then back to their rooms.
  So i wrote a letter to myself reminding myself not to bother. Last year I didn't do decorations. Just presents and dinner. They didn't act like they minded or cared at all. Hence same this year. Tho maybe fewer presents. I'll still make a turkey roast tho! Tho my youngest never eats roast.

I have; I just have a few more things to buy. I started mine in September, although I'm not sure if I'm going to do stocking fillers yet. We shall see.
