What are some of your most memorable gifts and who did you get it from?

I am not big on (physical) gifts and usually get invited to activities or events as presents.
One morning I had training and was telling one of the guys at my gym I'd been looking for a car, cause we were moving places which would make it more difficult to get to training.
A week later we met at training again and the same guy asked if I already found a car. He'd been talking about it to his wife and wanted to sell his to me.
Then came "but she insisted on giving you hers," hence a few weeks later, I was given a car as a present by someone's wife- who I had, in fact, never met before then.
Ever since, the guy is still surprised to see me driving around in their 2008 Peugeot 107, as he imagined the thing would've been dead by now. Lol. I honestly love the sentiment behind this car so much, I've been learning some maintenance myself, cause I don't want to get a different one 😂. She's been with me for 2 years now. That's certainly one of the most memorable presents in my case.

that and anything my nieces or nephews make me. Especially when you can tell they put time in it. It’s precious

I always said the Christmas me and my brother got the Super Nintendo in 1992 from my parents. I wanted one soooo bad and when i first opened a piece of the wrapping paper and seeing it underneath i was so ecstatic. I was 9 years old then and to this day the SNES is my favorite gaming console of all time. lots of memories playing super mario kart and zelda and just everything.
