Do you think being rich would solve all your problems? And what figure would you say would be enough or minimum for happiness in your life?

I came up with an idea that could potentially come close to doubling my income in less than a year. I was thinking if I had passive income and no longer needed to work for the things I want, I might be very bored, since I was too busy these last several years to focus on my social life and there would be very few people that I could invite out for a cup of coffee or a roast beef sandwich and a conversation.

I heard people say that Bill Gates original plan before divorcing Melinda was to leave his kids with very little money after he dies, so they would have careers of their own and personalities that match a productive and meaningful lifestyle, as opposed to an indulgent life of endless gluttony and partying. Now that he is divorced, Melinda Gates will probably give billions to their kids if she dies.
