Just about everything is replaceable to me so I dont really buy anything thinking it will last forever. With my kids clothes tho I have been buying my oldest son nicer clothes so he can pass them down to my younger sons once he grows out of them.
Yeah even "good" quality children's clothes don't seem to last these days. We only have one kid, so no one to pass clothes down to, but when we go through his clothes he's outgrown to either donate or toss, there's a lot that are too damaged to donate even.
I have several -- AllClad cookware, Henkels knives, my Breville toaster oven, my Zojirushi rice cooker, the prewar dressers (all used), a Stickley dining room set (used, $700), a couple of Persian rugs (used), a pair of Spendor speakers, 30 years old when I got them.
I don't have any all clad but I have been collecting Le Creuset one pot at a time. I also have a vintage pair of speakers- New Advent Loudspeakers manufactured in 1979.
yes, most of my tools...
some of them were actually from my family
