He's turning 27y/o in November

He's very simple n not much into fashion n all, among all the gifts I've given before loved gifts like socks set xD and a small toolkit.

He's into game like league of legends, genshin impact, he's a researcher, likes singing, reading

I'm very clueless, planning on getting some chocolates he wanted to try and I'll try baking a cake. In addition to that I want to gift him something

Best gift i ever got wasn't a gift as much as an idea. One year the women I was with at the time had to work and couldn't spend it with me. She had someone else come by our house a leave a bunch of balloons on the porch for me to find. I expected nothing but felt like she was there. I never forget the thought behind it and thats why I say that's the best "gift" I ever got. Stuff like that makes you realize the gift is the person.

But yea most of the things he likes are a bit out of my budget or it's too specific that I can't directly ask. and for most of the other stuff in general I have a habit of randomly gifting him things without an occasion. So now since it's actually an occasion to give I'm running out of options
