The one with the blue and thin stitching has fake leather. Just wait till it's humid and you drop it, it will rip the top off like icing from a cupcake.

The other bag has some material that looks to be an imitation of the swis army canvas material. Semi waterproof, light and surprisingly resilient.

It depends on how you plan to use it really. The bottom one has a lot of padding for something like a laptop but will definitely fall apart over time the other one looks like it's meant for holding things that don't mind abuse but will last a long time.

It's just my guess. I never liked faux leather. I have strong opinions because I beat the shit out of all my stuff. You could say my life is one big durability test 😂
