Grand Highlander Hybrid Max vs Sequoia Limited: which is better for long‑term ownership?

Between five and ten years or more from now, I’m looking to get a Grand Highlander Hybrid Max Platinum or Sequoia Limited. Possibly both…by having one model in a calendar year and the other model over two or three calendar years.

Alright. Never owned a Toyota. I had to go look at these two. If it were me, I’d get the hybrid. It looks nicer to the eye to me. Also, being hybrid is nice. The ONLY thing I’d check out is if there are known battery problems. Heard that crap is expensive to repair or replace.
