What everyday products do you regularly buy that are made in Canada?

The only thing I could think of are these metal products. They are made of galvanized steel and I have buckets , tubs and even a watering can that was made by this company.

I don’t really see “made in Canada” that much. I believe that they got some of our outsourced automotive industry jobs.
I typically try to find as much “made in USA” as possible and where i can’t, i look for “fair trade” imports. It’s not easy, and sometimes it’s heartbreaking. To this day i remember shopping for a memo board, dry erase & cork board combo. The “made in USA” piece was predictably more expensive but also visibly more shoddily made. The import was nicer and cheaper. I have no problem spending more to keep US citizens working and earning a living wage, but take some GD pride in the product! Don’t make cheap garbage just for increased profits! 😡🤬
My work boots are always made in USA and i usually have at least one pair of New Balance shoes that still have made in USA lines. Classic brown Carhartts are still made in the USA, but you have to look at the tag for other colors and fabrics. They’ve started importing certain lines. Notice how the cheaper imported lines aren’t cheaper though.
This is the whole problem with the capitalist pigs’ claims that they have to outsource to “remain competitive”. It’s a flat out lie because no company that outsourced labor or materials has reduced their prices to increase market share. They just cut overhead so the fat cats can get richer; usually off the backs of impoverished people working for a pittance. These are the issues i believe Drumpf’s tariffs program are intended to solve for the betterment of the US domestic economy. I know it’s going to be a slow process because we didn’t get here overnight, but it’s also going to be an uphill battle. Corporate greed knows no bounds.

I buy some food items and car parts. It sucks, I trust their products more than USA products in some areas, most actually. I can afford it, but a lot of peeps cannot.

Your garage springs are going up in price. Everything is going up in price. This is just inflation. if it resulted in jobs, maybe ok, but doubt it does. who is going to build a factory here hire people, when the politics can change inside 2 years.

I heard from some others in china that that they just move their factories to accepted places, like India.

President Trump has somehow got businesses to believe that the factory they build today will not be shuttered as soon as democrsts come back.

Is there any sign of success outside data centers? I'm aware of... maybe one... in my area. There is a lot of empty real estate around me, not so many new businesses or factories.

The problem with him is... he BS a lot. I'd like to see evidence south korea apple and others are putting billions into economy here... where is it, you'd see a lot going on in those towns.

there are factories being build mostly in Red states because of the low taxes but products like computer chips. pharmaceuticals, electronics, auto parts and major appliances.

Geeek honey and oil. It gets shipped to montreal (big greek community there) and ends up being cheaper to get shipped here from 🍁 than to ask my cousin to send it from his farm back home. Insane….

Our dog's food comes from Canada, and I often buy coins minted in Canada for my collection. The first car I ever owned, a Chevy, was assembled outside Toronto, Canada.
