IPhone Duo launch: do you love it too, and is it a good gift?

I saw some photos of it. It does look pretty neat. I also saw the price. To me, that is too much for a phone. That is about the same price that I paid for my computer, which is much more useful and practical for school.

I also don't know how often I would really use that inside screen. I have an iPad too. So for me, it doesn't make much sense. It is cool looking and bet someone would love it as a gift.

I suppose depending on who that person is to you. If it is someone close and you know they will appreciate such a lavish gift, then yes.

First of all the verb is give, not gift, and it would be very presumptuous to give someone a high-end phone unless you specifically know they want that phone. I like my iPhone 16 Pro Max and didn't get the iPhone 17 when it came out because I didn't like it as much. The Duo looks interesting but I would want to see it and play with it before I decide. I wouldn't want someone to make that decision for me.

@the_wolf_2002 I had a chance to play with this phone and it's very nice, but right now it's their “toy” phone and doesn't have all the features of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, so it's not for me. I might pick one up as a second phone because I like how small it is and how the whole thing works, though it is pretty heavy. I'd be interested to see the next generation of this phone after they've had a year of people complaining about certain things.

It's definitely cute. I have the galaxy z fold 8 that I absolutely adore.

Depends on what the other person likes. If you've heard them say they like it then yeah, of course it'd make a good gift
