What to get my girlfriend for her 17th birthday?

Help I don't want to give her the same B.S that everyone always gets there girlfriend.

Something personalized to her. If she likes art, get her an art kit. If she likes music, get her a mix cd for her or concert tickets. If she wears jewelry, give her jewelry. Of course, Jewelry can be sort of a cliche one, but if it is something personalized, then it works out. Like, say she loves cute baby animals and talks about them constantly. I'd get her these... link (of course, that only works if you know for sure that her ears are pierced... otherwise it's just awkward.

Like the other girls said, just get her something that is personal to her. Could be a dvd box set of her favorite TV show, her favorite movie and something from it (like if she likes Star Wars then a stuffed Yoda or something like that), etc.

Just get something nice. Go out one day into down and just find something that will make her remind herself of you. Like something that you too like or always joke around with. Funny gifts arr always good too!
