Is it common for guys to remember little things about girls?

I've noticed that my crush remembers little things about me. He will remember things about me that I said months ago. There also have been rare times where he will bring up things that I don't even remember telling him at all.

He remembers things like where I'm from, how we met each other, where we met each other, my career choice, random things I said in conversation, etc.

I definitely have noticed that he seems to listen to me attentively when we are talking. I can tell he is paying attention to me and what I'm saying just by how he acts- usually facing me, not doing anything else, reflecting/asking questions about what I'm saying, smiling, etc.

Is this type of thing common with guys?

I don't feel like the guys I talk to are as attentive as he is. It's not like they don't listen to me or remember what I've said at all, just not the degree that I notice in this guy.

When guys are interested in a girl do they tend to listen to her attentively and remember things about her?

I've met a few people that seem to remember everything. Most were girls. It could be that your crush is just the kind of person who remembers everything and is attentive, but it's most likely that your crush is interested in you.

When I'm interested in a girl I remember our interactions better because I think about them. I think about what I said and what she said. I think about what I could have said better and so on, but in thinking about these things after they happened, I end up having the unintended result of remembering all the details better.

yep I remember when and were I met my crush, it was on Valentine's day 4 years ago in my school hall. Once you meet someone you really like you try to focus on them, like know what they like and you really listen to them, I'm not sure if all guys are like this but I am

Only the girls I care about. Even more so with girls I have a romantic interest in.

People remember things for various reason, whether good or bad or maybe they were just extremely alert/sensitive that time. As for me it's. possible, but sometimes I just remember stuff anyhow.
