Within my family, we don't really over celebrate mothers or fathers day. Although this doesn't mean we don't still give a little or show something on this day to remind them how special them are to us. These ideas are just some that are very common and not unique!

As mother's day is drawing near here are some ideas on what you could give or show to your mother.

1. Card - This one can be DIY

Believe it or not, a card is one of the nicest gifts you can receive. Including a nice message makes it that much more perfect and personal. If you have time, making your own card is also another idea.

2. Picnic

A nice day out at the beach or park, or anywhere that she loves. Putting together a mixture of her favourite foods and drinks and creating a mystery to where the destination is until you reach. This is a cute and simple idea that can be done pretty easily. This can even take place in your backyard!

3. Spa Day

If she's the kind to love getting treated at the spa, why not make it a little thing you can both do together. Even a massage if your a guy and not really a keen bean on the spa day. Some places even do discounts on mother's day.

4. Movies

A day away from home where you go to the cinemas and let her pick a movie she wants to see, this keeps her away from any housework she wants to do instead of celebrating. Or even a movie marathon at home could work.
