Do you think dark brown eyes are boring?

I have dark brown eyes and I guess I've always been taught that blue/green eyes are the prettier ones and more special.. do you think that's true? Are brown eyes just plain boring? I'm also Scandinavian, where a lot of people have blue/green eyes, so I've always wished I had a pair of lighter eyes.

Yes honestly I do... Many of by other answers on GAG will prove it.

Like you said you we're basically taught that other colors are prettier.

It's just dark brown looks so boring/black I would prefer any other color but I guess hazel would suit me the best.

I mean I like everything else about my eyes they're big, I have long eye lashes, but if only I had a different color I would be set.

Not at all. I have light colored eyes, sometimes green other times blue, and it's not like I have ever had any more guys interested in me than any other girl with a different eye color. I think you fall for the person who is special to you overall. You don't just focus on 1 thing. If you are in love with someone everything about them is special and amazing... definitely not boring :D

I think dark brown eyes seem more approachable, yet interesting.

I think the grass on the other side of the fence is always greener. I have light blue eyes and I would happily trade them for some dark brown beauties. My eyes looks so cold that I want to stick a fork in them.

I also have brown eyes, always wanted lighter, like blue or green. But the thing is, when I dyed my hair a lighter color (red) it did make my eyes lighter too - a light shade of brown which was interesting.

1. I have brown eyes - not dark, not light type of and there is nothing boring about them - ask those who have liked them :D
2. 'prettier / more special' etc is a matter of perception of the beholder
3. Color of skin or cornea etc has nothing to do with beauty if not add to it :)

I don't think I tend to notice eye color much. I look at the girl overall. I tend to be really attracted to minorities (in the US non white basically) which have dark brown eyes and I often find those eyes amazing. A person's eye color means very little to me personally.

Hell no, my girlfriend has dark brown eyes and I absolutely adore and love them. I much rather prefer brown, black, or something dark and fiery then something very light colored. Dark varied eye colors are very intriguing and help much more with sexier look to me.

No, I think brown eyes draws a person in more. Mine are brown and I love them because I think they go well with my skin tone. My boyfriend had blue/green eyes and his are beautiful haha it all depends on the person. Eyes of every color are special.

They are very common. I think they are pretty boring (I have them). But I always get compliments on my eyes because of its shape and size. So depending on how it looks, it can still stand out.

When I was a kid I liked light eyes better, but now I like dark (So long as you can differentiate the pupil from the iris) brown eyes best. They're just a lot more expressive and entrancing, and I feel like a person who I'm talking to with brown eyes just seems more warm and human-no offense, light eyed people! I, too, have dark brown eyes. I'm proud to say that they're the darkest in my family, and that includes the extended family x)

i like brown and green eyes. depends on the individual. brown for tanned brunettes, green for whiter skinned girls with red hair. i dont really like blondes with blue eyes, dont know why.

Dark brown eyes are my favorite. I have blue eyes, but I don't like them in girls. Dark brown eyes are deep and mysterious. They look inviting and warm, whereas light eyes look cold.
