How many pairs of sweatpants can you own before being an abomination to fashion?

I mean, despite their comfyness, I think in general they're impossible to really make fashionable at all, haha. I have two pairs, but I only wear them as pajama pants, and will only wear them in public if I'm picking something up from the store really late at night. I mean, I'm a little extreme, haha, but after all of highschool and 4 years of college without ever wearing sweatpants to class or a public place, I'm not gonna start wearing them now. XD

Ironically enough however, I think dudes in sweatpants is super attractive though, I don't know why! Guys in casual wear is much more attractive to me than a dude in formal attire. Though I do have to agree with a lot of people here, it's not about how many you own, it's about how often you wear them!

5 pair limit, more than that means you're wearing them more often than you should.

If you're on the go and in a hurry then it's fine to wear sweats in public like grocery shopping or running errands/ walking the dog/ exercise but it's a big NO NO if you're going to meet friends for lunch or just having a casual day.

I don't think it's about the number of sweatpants you own (although there really isn't a reason for more than a few pairs) but mostly about how often and in what settings you wear them
