Do girls like the calm, laid back type of guy?

My personality is basically calm laid back almost like your typical surfer or hippie. I'd rather spend the day at the beach or go camping than spend a night partying at a club. I feel though that this isn't really what girls like and prefer the type of guy who is loud and exciting. Thoughts?

Yeah girls you meet are the party girls who like party guys.
Those who don't are most likely shut away somewhere and you're less likely to meet them.

You meet them all the time. Those are the quiet girls, mostly polite, gentle, rarely surrounded by groups. Tend to enjoy solo activities. These girls you'll meet in passing and you can meet them anywhere.

The trick to getting one is picking up the courage to approach her when you normally wouldn't. If you depend on big social settings like parties to approach, you will have trouble ever catching one of these girls.

I prefer that. I'm not a party person or a club-goer so I want someone who is the same way. It doesn't mean you can't be exciting and fun, though :)
