Yes! Sometimes you must kill your baby or else you will obsess over it.

Basically it means (DON"T ACTUALLY KILL A BABY! IT IS AN EXPRESSION) that if you are getting nowhere with a painting or book or what not, sometimes it is better to destroy it and start over.
