Why are attractive girls more likely to be sluts?

Question

I hear this from guys all the time. 
friends: "don't go for her she's a slut". 
me: "how do you know? have you ever even seen her before?" 
them: "just look at her man." 
me: "shes dressed pretty conservatively. just because she's hot she's a slut?" 
them: "well attractive girls tend to be sluttier than your average girl. just saying"

so why do people think that the more attractive a girl is, the more likely they are to be a slut or exhibit slutty behavior? please don't just say they are stupid or something like that.

Tiny skirts that barely cover their bum, big heels, push up bras, orange faces, fake eyelashes, etc etc. That's the stereotype of a slut.

Lots of young women wear small skirts and low cut tops - 20s -ish is usually a woman's prime time when she looks her best. Quite often, they haven't found a stable relationship yet either. So they are flaunting what they have, attracting a mate or keeping a mate attracted. It's a common fact that men are generally more attracted to a bit of skin (not all of it hanging out), than being in a head to toe loosely fitting ninja outfit.

Make up is a marvellous thing too - look at a picture of Jenna Marbles with and without make up. Perfect example of make up enhancing your looks. So the "hot" girls may be completely "average".

Pretty girls get attention often starting out sooner than other girls. They're used to the attention, comfortable with it and because of the attention, are aware that they're hot, and are typically more confident which would give them the guts to get naked and bump uglies. Lol but here's my disclaimer, not all pretty girls are sluts and not all ugly girls are prude. Although it is a phenomenon among pretty girls especially recently, at least at my school. All my friends are hot as fuck and most of them lost their vcards when they were 14. I've always been just the awkward funny one lol

Not true, I have come across many MANY women who were an easy lay and slept around (don't like calling them sluts, tired of the word). It is false that better looking women tend to sleep around. It's pretty much a case by case basis. Can't say ALL attractive women sleep around (because they don't) and can't say ALL unattractive women are good girls.

Attractive girls can get low self esteem for some reason which I'm forgetting at the moment. But it happens, then they think they aren't good enough to get a guy so they think they have to show off their body to get one. I think it's because perhaps they know they're attractive, yet nobody has asked them out, so they lose self esteem.

Ugly girls might just give up and not be slutty.

People perceive them as sluts, they think they 'I may as well be a slut if everyone thinks that,' people perceive them as sluts (either way) even more - vicious circle.

They're probably not really sluts - the jealous woman shoots herself in the foot when they join insecure guys in labelling other girls (they can't get) as sluts. See Cinderella!

They're judging them. As to what they're judging them on may or may not be lead to an accurate conclusion. You gotta ask yourself if these people actually know these girls. Are they making rumors? Do they know for a fact that they "have a lot of sex?" Are they dating lots of guys? Do they constantly text random guys a lot?

You can't base it off the clothes and physique alone.

because they have the most options. it's about probability, and because she's hot, there's a higher probability she's been with other men who would likely not reject her or even try to get her. what the guys don't get is that some girls just aren't interested in mindless sex, no matter how hot she is.

Dude believe ig or not. I have made an observation which actually seems that out of every 10 hot chicks , 8 girls do exhibit slutty character.
In my country, it could be 4/10 but in west it can be 80%.
