Do girls actually like sex? It doesn't make sense. If girls like sex as much as guys (which they supposedly do), why aren't there inordinate amounts of casual sex happening?

Gay men for example, are having casual sex all the time, a friend of mine has no trouble finding another guy to hook up with, because guys are just about always up for sex.

If girls liked sex as much as guys do, there would be women saying 'oh god, I'm so horny, I need to get off'.

GIRL: I like sex

GIRL: I don't like sex

GIRL: It's okay

GUY: Girls like sex as much as guys

GUY: Girls DON'T like sex as much as guys do.

Yes, I love sex. But that doesn't mean I want to go out and have casual sex with random people. I prefer to only have sex with people I am in a long-term relationship with. However, sex is very pleasurable and I love sharing that part of myself with a guy that I love. So far, it has only been with one person though.

But anyway, yes, I have a fairly high sex drive and I like it. Of course, generally speaking, guys do have higher sex drives than women but women enjoy sex too.

I've only been with one guy. Its not that he wasn't good, but sex wasn't all that especially the majority of the time. So after him, I haven't had sex since, and its not bothersome. I feel like I can wait til marriage now as I've found other ways to keep myself occupied (and no I don't mean masturbating. Thats not something that interests me).

It's just a different mechanism, really. Guys want to get their sperm around as much as possible, hence their sex drive. Women instinctually fear unwanted pregnancy, hence the hesitation. And a shitload of sex toys instead of the real thing.

I agree with Slavanna but DUDE! Girls like sex MORE then guys and trust me it is Correct! Just, for girls sex is completely different thing then for guys. Girls need emotions, they should trust partner totally and respect him, also there is SlutShaming and.. god... Its differ for every single man and woman. Beside, a need of a man for a woman is like a basic setup from God. Its not that woman doesn't a man, but sexually they're not that aggressive.

Yes, women like sex just as much as men, but due to our society's stereotypes & judgmental attitude, they are forced to not show it as much as men. There are men out there who believe guys should be entitled to sleep with as many women as they want, & then just expect a virgin wife. While women, if they sleep with more than 1 person, they are ruined, used up, or someone's sloppy seconds. Those men quite frankly disgust me!

We may like sex, but it's riskier for us. We can't run around and do it just because we want to. Most girls understandably prefer to have sex in relationships instead of casually.

Girls experience it more intensely when it's good, guys want it more often. If the relationship is healthy sex drives should harmonise more or less.

There's social factors to your observation but as far as a biological standpoint, women on a first meeting basis will have sex with a small number of men only.
But at the same time, women that are in love, have a lot of sex.
