What is your favorite/least favorite accent?
Favorite accents: Australian/New Zealand and English (Aussies and Kiwis sound friendly, English reminds me of family and the BBC). I kind of like a Scottish accent. But of course, I really love a Wookie accent.
Least favorite accents: New England and New Yorker accents. Actually, I don't really dislike them so much as they sound funny to me. I tend to dislike Russian accents. It's a Cold War habit. Strangely, my coworker is from Russia and I love talking to her. I make an exception with her accent.
New England?
Favorite its a draw between South African and Australian and my least favorite would have to be Pakistani or Indian i find it annoying.
I don't like the accents where I'm from. It's just certain words that people say wrong bother me, like Valintimes day it Valentine's day or lieberry instead of library, warsh instead of wash. I took speech classes to loose my accent, it does come out when I'm mad. I'm from the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia and I don't even know what to call it, it's not southern. My mom sounds exactly like Dolly Parton when she talks. I like other accents but British and Italian are my favorites.
I live in the US I don't like southern accents, they just make people sound slow... I really like French accents because they're so flowy and beautiful, and English accents because Dan Howell
I love the British Accent/Korean accent its so adorable when speaking english. Least is probably Vietnamese accent and Nigerian.
Shucks, I like those African women's accents. Its a little funny because they all sound the same to me. But yeah I like Korean accents too.
Same as the French accent lol, what don't you like about the Vietnamese accent?
Favorite: Spanish, Greek, Latin American.
Least favorite: The entire Indian subcontinent. That means India, Bengali, whatever. Beautiful people but horrible accents.
Somali too. French. Southern US. Ugh.
Yeah I know lol.
I forgot about Italian for favorite. Korean too. If I had to pick an Asian favorite too it would be that.
Do they not? Haha
Especially the Japanese boys. Now that is eargasmic :)
Favorite- has to be between British and an Australian one. Least favorite (no offense) and Indian one

Serbian accent in Serbian is always the best for me.
what about your least favorite?
Favorite American southern
Least favorite English and Australian.
God I hate those all 3 of those accents but whatever floats your boat
And I have to add to the ones I hate. The ny/nj accent where they end words with er when they really end with a lol I hear that a lot on TV. Like if someone's name is Carla it somehow comes out as carler. Lol
lol I live upstate, I know exactly what you mean haha
My fav Accent is the American accent, i don't know why but i really like the American accent. I personally have a german accent and i live in Canada and everyone is always saying to me You have such a nice accent or like your accent, so i say I like yours too, and sometimes there's the ignorant prick whos like "What Accent?" But that's my opinion
did you have a least favorite?
Is there a specific accent you are referring to? America has hundreds of accents.
Favorite: Any light/moderate European accentry is really cute imo. Keywords are light/moderate.
Least favorite:Any thick or heavy accent. Its just fucking annoying when I can't understand someone. It doesn't matter what particular accent it is, if it's thick or heavy, I can't stand it.
Accents that make it completely impossible for me to understand what they're saying are my least favorite. However, this depends more on the person who's speaking and less on where exactly they're from.
did you have a favorite?
Favorite: Russian, British, Australian.
Least favorite: Bangladeshi. The cadence (syllable pattern) is so different that it's really hard to understand, and the vowels sound harsh to me. Sorry anyone from there :(
The Indian, Bengali subcontinent is difficult to make out sometimes. Somalis sound like them too.
Kind of, yeah. I have friends from both - Somali is a bit easier for me.
My favorites is kind of a tie between British/Irish/Scottish/Kiwi/Aussie accents. Least favorite... I'm not a fan of Filipino or Spanish accents. I don't know why.
Spanish from Latinos, or from Spaniards?
Both.
Shame. Hearing a Spanish man talk is like verbal seduction to me :*
Yea. Pretty much all the girls I know love Spanish accents. I was never one to swoon when I hear a man speak Spanish to me. It's just meh. I grew up hearing it.
hahaha alright
ya. But to each their own. haha. ^^
I don't like the Chinese accent... picture an FOB hitting on a blond chick at a Bar..
Better yet how about those with a thick east Indian accent?
Chance of rejection.. 100% the worst accents to be born with. :(
I hate the Indian accent so much too. Its hard to grasp. But did you have a favorite accent?
Welp thankfully my accent is super whitewashed. I prefer a hot brit accent
In the US:
Favorite- Boston/New England
Least- Southern
Boston yes! And I like the southern accent actually...
Favourite: Irish - I could listen to them speak all day ^^
Least favourite: ... this is kinda bad seeing as I'm Chinese, but I have to say Chinese. (I have a British accent though haha)
yeah Irish men have sexy accents
Favorite accent: English
Least favorite: I can't think of one... maybe certain country accents (from the US.) I live in the south and some are attractive, and some are annoying as hell
lol the southern accent isn't a popular one it seems
I like girls with an American accent, to me it sounds more feminine than a lot of British girls. Least favorite is probably South African because it can be a bit abrasive at times, but I can get over it lol.
I like the Welsh accent. Love any Caribbean accent. Not really a fan of most North American accents- especially if they end with an upward inflection. It grains on you.
I love that Carribean accent, especially on women
Favorite, a little cliche, but I like a lot of UK accents. Northern Scottish is really nice. Whatever Elizabeth Hurley has is nice too. Various others.
Least favorite: Quebecois. I. Can't. Stand. Quebecois.
I don't like the Australian accent, it sounds pretty rough especially with females it can also sound goofy?
Yeah I don't like the Australian accent either. It sounds too much like a wannabe British accent... in which it is basically.
Uh, Asker, who do you think founded Australia as a nation?
@AnimeDreama Australia is made up of British criminal descendants hence the British "founded" Australia.
"in which it is basically." Uh, that kind of implies I already knew that.
.
Wow I love Australian accents, y'all are crazy.
When French speak English is my favourite.
I do like Scottish female accent 2nd best.
American 3rd best.
Least favourite is probably Indians that speak English in a weird way.
favorites: italian, sexiest. french, prettiest.
hispanic accents and even the sound of Spanish is obnoxious, gives me a headache. (nothing against the people speaking them though)
By hispanics you include spaniards too? because they are hispanics, you should know that. And I think that they have a nice accent.
technically, they're not the same. similar, but different. sort of like African american/carribean to african.
but yea, I don't like Spanish (from spain) accents either. a basque accent is nice though.
Favorite accent? Italian
Least favorite? I don't know... one I can't understand? Maybe German? It sounds so harsh. I really don't have one, I like to hear all languages.
Japanese is my favorite accent ever. I get wet thinking about it. I haaate German accents Dx
Favorite would be British and New Zealander.
Least favorite would be like Appalachian.
Appalachian? I have to check that one out one day.
It's kind of like southern states in the U. S. but you can hardly understand a word they say.
Think O Brother where art thou with George Clooney
Wow that accent does suck...
