Hmmm…actually a tough question for me, I usually enjoy accents. I’d say maybe the one that puts me off sometimes are heavy Metro New York City/Northern New Jersey accents, more just because of the mental image they conjure for me. It’s basically just a sports thing, I’m a Red Sox fan and I’ve had to hear my share of obnoxious Yankees fans with that accent. Like everyone pictured here….. I hate them ON SIGHT😂😂😂
I’m sure it’s exactly the same for a lot of them with our Boston accents though, lmao.

The southern drawl. Like deep in the bible belt. Can't stand it. West and East coasters L. A. and Bostonian. It just sounds so goofy to me.
And Certain English accents. Some of the less formal ones. I don't know the names of them but there's some from the streets I've heard that sound like scratched records skipping under a broken needle
It’s pretty frustrating when you call customer service about a credit card transaction and you get someone with an accent you have a hard time understanding… and you were already frustrated before dialing the number… and now you’re even more frustrated because there is a lack of communication and understanding.
Today, that was my situation… with an Indian accent. He was for the most part nice… but half the time I was like wtf if he saying 😡😢
It has to be the one you get when you call tech support. I can't understand most of what they are saying.

No offense to anyone of this nationality, but as someone who routinely has to deal with support that's been outsourced to India; that would be my least favorite accent.
When I'm trying to handle a call at work, and support takes an hour, because I can't understand their English, it leaves a bad impression. West Virginia and Kentucky. No offense to ANYONE in the US who are from those states, they’re some of the nicest people, but the accent is annoying (although in all fairness my southern friends tell me my Long Island accent gets on their nerves too lol)
Customer service and tech support people from India. They know the words but they mispronounce them. I've hung up on them and called back hoping for someone I could understand.
A nurse at one of my doctors was from a Carribian island. I had trouble understanding her, too.I'd say Asians as a whole and Nigerians... because they usually have the thickest accents/voices and I can't understand them.
Also there are some British accents that I can't stand like Cockney... and some American sound obnoxious to me but I can't poinpoin them.
Also, anyone who's first language is German.Scottish. Those folks are often difficult to understand, as well as areas of England where the letter "H" is unrepresented in the local dialect.
In the case of my fellow Americans, people from Rhode Island, a state the size of a postage stamp, have annoying accents.I mean mine works in the US on the times I've been on holiday... In the UK mixed results lol, so I think different places have different appreciation... but as for the UK.. both Brummie (Birmingham) and Scouse (Liverpool) are appreciated by fewer people than most other accents lol
Australian, for sure. Maybe it's because I hear it so often, and a lot of the time I struggle to even understand what they're saying. It's like, "Geeday mite, ya gonna have a cozzy up wa wozzy in tha konga?" Eh? What? Speak real English please!
Indian and arab accents are the worst. But it depends on the thickness. I remember I had an Indian maths teacher back when I was at school (a long time ago) and I basically missed the entire year because I had no idea what he was saying. I caught up the next year with the help of a tutor but, that was a huge inconvenience. Such inarticulate people shouldn't be hired as teachers.
I don't really dislike accents in general if I can at least understand what they are saying. I do have trauma of indian accents tho, because of poor youtube tutorials.
Indian.
Also, sometimes Australian. Fun fact half of us can't even say the countries name properly and say
" Straya"!
I'm sure I have some thing's that would annoy people, but I can at least say our fucking country's name properly! Oh and I practically never say "G'day" 😜Scouse (Liverpool) is pretty trash, although Irish can be a nightmare.
Scouse hardnutIllegible Irish manAmerican accent, sometimes i don't understand what they're saying. Their pronunciation is hard to understand. I usually put subtitles when watching American movies.
Also British definitely, i don't think i would be able to understand a word if met a British person in real life.
Australian, as British so thick accent not able to understand a word.
I am only saying about native English speakersRussian. It sounds like theyre spitting or mad. I still find russian men handsome but its just not a voice i can listen to all day.
Off the top of my head I can say southern just because my ex sounded extremely southern and he was a total ass. Sorry not sorry southern people
That I have actually heard would be Japanese. My high school friend's mom was from Japan and her accent was so strong I was lucky to understand 1 out of 4 or 5 words. It was way hard to communicate.

no such thing... I like them all, even if I don't get anything about what they're saying... lol
Would be Brummie or Black Country
bit of a toss up
Although Fen lot are a bit of a nightmareMaybe Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. I know what my favorite accents are though.
I hate my accent.. Australian. Just sounds horrible in tv shows and movies and when I hear myself on videos I wanna puke. It’s sounds so bad ugh
Australian bugs me. Indian is annoying. Jewish accents, too. And I actually despise Israeli more than anything.
