Whether it's more than friendship you need to look more at how often you two speak, how she acts with you in person, compare how she is with you to other people. Off the information you've given, there's not enough to give a secured yes or no.

I mean I'm an open person, I talk to my best guy mate about my periods, all that jazz. But I talk to my dad about it too, sooooooo... really it depends on her personality.

My advice to you man is look for a new, girls are attracted to guys that can be a playful jerk and nice. But if you suddenly start being a jerk she will think something is wrong with you. Be patient.
