Why do girls post "duckface" pictures on their dating site profiles?

I stick out my lips a little sometimes to make them look bigger cause I have small lips and I think they look better a little puffier. It's not noticeable though. I don't actually stick my lips out like a duck. I think when girls do that they think it looks cute or something.

Yeah... i think it's just a really bad habit for some girls :/ Kinda like a "go to" pose for the camera for some reason. I don't do it, nor advocate it :P But I think some girls don't even realize they do it or how silly it looks.

I don't know, I'm just not that offended by duckfaces. It can look cute on a pretty girl. Its maybe overdone, but it doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother everybody else.

I personally am not a huge fan of duck face, and NEVER take duckface pics of self. I can't imagine myself with a duck-face. I think I will look look embarrassin that way.

lol I forgot to add after 'because' that 'they think'. I used to do it when my cheeks were extremely chubby when I smiled, but not smiling made me look angry.. so I opted for duckface.. thought my face looked nicer/slimmer that way.. but now I cringe when I look at those old pics xD I speak from experience lol
