I love it! My fiance and i have a favorite sushi resturant that we go to a lot.

There are so many types of sushi and they all have differnt tastes. Some sushi can be baked, some raw. I have had it with salmon, yellowtail, shrimp, crab, eel

If you have never had it before then i dont recommend you having expectations that it is gonna taste like chicken or cake or something that you are familiar with (Allthough i have had sushi with scallops and spicy mayo in it and that really did taste just like chicken) You have to go in expecting that it is going to have a different taste. When you try to compare everything to chicken then you will be totally disapointed and think something is nasty when it doenst taste like chicken. So you have to prepare your mind first.

a lot of sushi has raw fish in it or slightly raw fish but because there may be otherthings in the sushi too like avacado, rice, some kind of sauce, wasabi, mustard, seaweed, cream cheese, jalapeno, some kind of vegetable, smelt roe, some crunchy flakes (i dont know what its called) then you really dont notice the raw fish taste. Also you can dip it in some sauces too like soy sauce.

Also there are types of sushi that you really can taste the raw fish becasue they dont have a lot of other stuff in it and thoes taste really good too. It may seem like an acquired taste because your taste buds might not be use to it.

I had Sushi a couple of weeks ago and then craved it EVERYDAY at EVERY OPPORTUNITY. I tried to find medical reasons for his and discovered that your body craves sushi when your liver is overworked and looking for a food that is easier to digest. It might also be because I'm not eating enough omega 3 so I am trying to alter my diet so that I can avoid eating sushi which is too expensive for me.

Yes, sushi is great if done right, love Tuna, Salmon and the Sockeye Salmon Roe which has to be really cold for me to eat Salmon Eggs though! Even Octopus if the person prepping it knows what they're doing is good, if not it's like chewing rubber bands! Like Sushi a lot! = }

There are few sushi pieces that I love and will not stop eating but I always prefer sashimi 2000% of the time. Less carbs, more protein! It's great but not every time it can get very expensive very quick, trust me I can run that bill up like a shopaholic at a mall during Black  Friday  !

I've tried it. My boyfriend's family loves it. His mother informed me at the last time we went out that "if you want to be a part of this family you have to eat like us!" So... guess I have to learn to like sushi... except I don't. I really really don't.

Ever tried it? 😱 Are you kidding me that stuff is in my body every once a week lol 🙈 I kind of like the variety packs where they have some sushi pieces and some small rice wrapped with salmon ones! I LOVE IT! a lovely way of eating healthy. Salmon helps with omega 3 so no harm done there either! WINNING!!

Yeah. It was alright I guess. A little expensive though so I rarely think it's worth it and I rarely feel like "OH I know what we could do, let's have some fucking SUSHI!" Meh.

I have, and I like it, except that where I live is completely landlocked, so none of the fish is fresh. I imagine it would be better with fresh fish.  That's the dream though, man. FRESH seafood

At first it was good, but then it got this thick goo feeling. Then the slimy wrap. I almost threw up, it wasn't for me. by the way i wasted nine dollars on that stuff

They sell sushi at a Kiosk at my University so, I have eaten a lot in the past few months. The first time I tried it was when I was about 15 or 16 I believe.

I only eat veggie sushi, but I think it's wonderful. Most Japanese cuisine is really interesting and tasty, it's a shame a lot of it is such a hassle.
