How often do you go to concerts?

To be honest, until this year I almost never went to concerts. I just thought they were too expensive and didn't really "get" them until I saw a couple shows that I really liked.

But I used to know some people who would literally go to a concert every other week. I guess they had a lot of money (or great jobs).

Anyways, now I'm trying to go to a concert every other month or so because it's really enjoyable and I wondered what other people do.

How often do YOU attend concerts/live events?

as often as possible. I haven't been to a show in over a year though. :/ in chicago I go to a few per week, mostly house shows (which are usually pay whatever you can by donation), chi has a lot of really good underground scenes. plus during the summer there's lots of block parties/street festivals the city puts on.. in nola, I went maybe once a week, while I do love jazz, I'm bigger into diy/independent rock scenes which new orleans is severly lacking in.. as far as bigger bands that play actual venues, maybe once a month. usually medium sized shows though, I don't like large venues and huge crowds. I'll do it for conor obearst. no one else.

It really depends on what bands are coming near.. how much... and when.

Last one I went to was just after my birthday.

Next one I have lined up, is in February .

When Metric's Synthetic album was released in June 2012,

I saw them 4 times just from June 10/12 to June 29/13

It honestly depend on the genre and your location honestly. Sometimes I go a few times a week. I listen to hardcore , psychedelic , alternative & reggae. A lot of the time they're local or there just not main stream so the tickets aren't crazy expensive , mostly $10 shows. & I also live very close to San Francisco/Santa Cruz/Oakland/San Jose which have really good music scenes.

I have only been to one concert type thing, it was Reading Festival and it was 2004... the year 50 cent got pelted with bottles of piss! I don't dig live music because I've been to a few gigs and they were all shite, it must take a lot of trial and error trying to find a band worth seeing.

I've never been to concerts unfortunately. This was my best chance when David Guetta arrived at New Delhi couple of weeks ago but I can't go alone so I missed it :'( my biggest let down of the year.

I haven't been able to go in ages, unfortunately.
When I was in high school and for years after, I went to at least 2 concerts every WEEK. My friends and I were always on the road to the next show.
My friends were also in a band and I went on one tour with them so I was technically at a different concert every night for months, haha! Man, that was a blasty blast!

They were a hardcore band... and the part that I stuck around for was in the South, I didn't get to go with them when they went to places like CA or WA, I had to go back to work, haha!

Depends on who's touring and timing etc. I tend to like smaller shows and venues so I tend to hit those a lot more than the big arenas. But I go to 3 or 4 big shows a year

Last concert i've been too was for this band called One Side Zero and this was wayyy back in 2008, so im definitely not a concert person lol.

I like stage musicals though. i will be seeing Wicked next month

Well they're famous bands in the UK, not so much globally...
I saw McBusted twice, the second time other popular bands were playing too- they played a set of about 6 songs. It was Scouting for Girls and Five supporting, The Backstreet boys were supposed to turn up too lol but were apparently "sick" haha.
The other concert was this boyband called Union J and the one after that was their support act Room 94. I went to this other one were lots of upcoming bands played but it was headlined by Union J and Lawson.
I went to this mini gig The Vamps held too a couple of months ago :D

Yeah they're descent but not as good... it's hard to move one when I feel like there's nowhere to look. But either way, I'm only 17 so I never got the chance to see him. I accept it but doesn't mean I will hold the 90s dear to me. And the other bands... well... they've grown old... not into the modern sort of thing.

If you want to go anywhere off the road system your best bets are probably Iliamna, Katmai, and Kodiak.
That can run into serious money though- especially Iliamna and Katmai
