CONSENSUAL incest is not wrong. Consensual incest is very common. You know people who have been involved, whether you know it or not.

There is no rational reason for keeping laws or taboos against consensual

My best friends mom got remarried when he was 16, they moved in with the guy who had a 15 year old girl. They fucked all the time, actually they were pretty much in a relationship through high school. astonishing their parents had no idea what so ever. I think it depends on how you were raised with each other. If you were always around them in a "family" capacity, and then had sex, it would be weird. If you were not close, or never felt like they were "family" I guess it isn't too weird? My friend hooked up with her new step-brother, but they are adults and his dad married her mom late in life, so they never had a sibling relationship.

It depends and it's kind of subjective.
If you were raised with your step-sibling it can be socially wrong since you and your step-sister were practically raised as brother and sister.
But if you were not, I do not consider it wrong.

Incest is defined as being with someone who you cannot legally marry. You couldn't marry someone who is legally your sibling, for example.
