Has anyone ever wondered why cinderella's glass slipper never disappeared at the stroke of midnight along with everything else?

I think that the slipper did not disappear because this was an important part of the story. It happened so that he could find it and go searching for Cinderella.. Without the glass slipper he would have never found her because she was always locked up in the house doing chores and depending on which version of the story you read or movie you watch she almost didn't get to try on the shoe because she was in the attic and came out to ask if she could try it on and the evil stepsisters did not want her to.

Actually the other things didn't disappear, they just changed back but the glass slippers weren't anything before that so that is why they did not disappear

hmmm... very interesting. ok ill tell u what happened.
it's all a set-up by the fairy godmother to get cinderella and the prince together.
when she transformed cinderella, she ensured that one shoe would be slightly more loose than the other, as well as not being able to disappear at midnight.
by giving cinderella a curfew, she knew she'd b in a rush and the shoe would definitely fall off as she ran.
thus, the handsome prince finds it and begins his quest for true love *sheds a happy tear*
