Why are there so many bots on tinder?

So I finally downloaded tinder on my phone. I've tried it for 2 days but the only people I've had a match with were bots. I'll get someone that says we're a match, message them and then I'll get the same message from all these types. It'll say so happy were a match, I have more pics on this site, insert random link, then message me on here with this username.

Why are there so many bots on there? Is it hackers trying to spam and steal personal information?

On a side note how much luck have you had whether it's getting a hook up or relationship?

Social networks are the hunting grounds for marketers trying to draw interest to their products. This will always be the case and that's why spam regulations are often imposed on such sites.

That model is obviously overused but apparently it still works and isn't too high maintenance. If the site is user friendly for the masses, spam will always find its way in.

There's so many bots everywhere. I was an artificial intelligence bot for the first 7000 points on this site on another account. They were giving me best answer left and right. Then I started posting for real and got banned. lol

yeah they like my bot mind, but if I give honest blunt opinions from experience it's a banable offense. Thus the lesson learned was, this site is not remotely intended to help anyone, it is all for the cash. Keep the content creation going forwards so they can advertise.

I had a few guys ask me on there in the first message if I was a bot. This makes more sense now.

I think there are only bots posing as females. I've never encountered a male one.

It's probably because women are more objectified than men. Not that it makes it ok.

Oh trust me, dating sites are seriously infected with female bots! Especially Tinder. As good as you look I would initially think you were a bot if ur profile was blank. :-P

Yeah and I don't fall for it. I was just curious. It's just hard to tell if they're a bot at first until you see those messages.
