I'm sopose to be/thinking of getting one on my 16th (which is a month from now) but my dad said that we can go and do it right now, I'm scared because this girl said that it took her 10mins and that it was really painfully. You also have to have this needle go threw your ear, im more comfortable with the piercing gun. I also grew this huge bump on my ear when I got a second piercing which lead me to get rid off it.

Scared of getting a industrial piercing? Anyone got one before?
I got one about a year ago with a needle. It took like 10 - 20 seconds and it didn't hurt at all... You have to make sure your are getting it done by a professional and please, don't think of getting it with a piercing gun!! Just don't. Industrial piercings are really complicated so you should have a really good aftercare!. It takes about 1 year to heal fully. As the cartilages don't have a really big blood flow infections aren't that common, though if you don't follow proper aftercare you might catch one and infections in cartilages are really hard to heal. I had to take my industrial out because my ear was swollen and the piercing wasn't healing. With this type of piercings the probabilities of developing a bump are high! But they should go away if you follow the proper aftercare!! Industrials are really cool piercing but you have to be careful. I'll get mine done again. Best luck
NEVER use a piercing gun anywhere but lobes. Cartilage piercings aren't that bad. Those can be hard to heal due to location. But pain wise, it all depends on your tolerence and the piercer.
