PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS?

So I bought this vintage boat, and so I thought it would be cool to make as a bed for a "shipwrecked" themed room. I brought it into the room, assembled the mattress, but now whenever you get on it it moves back and forth because it has then peak in the middle. How do I get it to stand still without buying a boat stand?

Hanging it from the ceiling is definitely the way to go:

If you have a smallish room with high ceilings, you might also include a small hand-winch to allow it to be lifted up out of the way to create more space:

If you're really ambitious, you could even then install lights / speakers / etc in the bottom of the boat.

Get some boards or blocks of wood to lay parallel with the peak on each side. theyed work better if you cut them on angles on the top to better line up with the boat. By the way, I like this idea. Very creative. 🚤

A boat stand could probably be your best option if not you could buy some type of structure for it out of wood, though I would kinda like the rocking movement
