How do you feel about falling asleep on the phone?

This guy I'm talking to has started doing this. Sometimes he says he's tired or I can tell he's a bit sleepy, but whenever I ask him if he wants to go to bed, he says no. Not long afterwards would he be asleep. I can't even say anything worth talking about because he's too sleepy to pay attention ! lol

My ex used to do this too. *sigh*

What's going on when guys do this on the phone?

I can't see how him being willing to talk to you until he falls asleep can be a bad thing. I've done this with past girlfriends, and it's been reversed where they have been all cute and sleepy like and have eventually even fallen asleep on the phone. Then I'll just lay there listening to them gently breathing till I fall asleep myself. It's comforting to hear the voices of those you love, why does there have to be anything else to it? O.o

I bet. Its soothing and comforting. And if you close your eyes its ALMOST as if you're right there next to them. Which is one reason Jeffery loves it so much=P

I have fallen asleep on the phone before. Mostly I am really tired but rarely it was because he voice was so soothing. You should feel lucky that the guy wishes to be on the phone with you rather than get a good night's rest. I have fallen asleep while watching porn and yes, I was really tired. That just goes to show you... if a guy is really tired, nothing is that interesting to keep him from nodding off.

I'm saying he wants to listen to you on the phone rather than sleep. That's pretty good because he cares. The porn thing was an example of how exhausted a guy can be and not even porn can keep him awake. Ask him if he thinks you have a soothing voice. I'm guessing that you do. ;)

For me it's a very intimate thing especially in LDR. Falling asleep together is like a substitute for sex. What I mean by that is the level of intimacy you share simply by the silence and solitude of being together, even though you aren't physically together... you're still together in a way. That's a very beautiful thing.

Sometimes it's nice knowing that your the last person he talked too and he's willing to stay on the phone with you that long.

I don't think it's a bad thing because it means that he wants to keep talking to you but sometimes gets too tired. It's kind of cute but annoying if you're in the middle of a conversation lol.
