Falling asleep while texting?

So my boyfriend and I basically text all day and usually all night, recently I've been falling asleep on him while texting and when I wake up I have about 3-4 messages and the first two are like babe are you still awake? The other two are him being angry at me for falling asleep- and how he stays up to text me, I don't mean to fall asleep sometimes when a text come's later then I expect I drift. He complains he stays up all night because of it... what should I do? D:

was nice boyfriend you got there, 1st relationships where you constantlyyyyyyyyyy text your partner don't last long, even if they do arguments are constant duhhhhh, plus when your sleepy tell him goodnight I got a life need to wake up and be productive the next day (in a funny way so he gets the point and the other nights he doesn't expect you to stay up late) , you can't throw your life away for a guy that expects you to be up his ass 24/7 keep him updated on what you do, that's trust issues right there, just because your in a relationship doesn't mean you gotta shut off everything else just for that person. If you guys talk less, than when you meet up or at night you have something to talk about and the conversation will be interesting that you won't sleep on him. Sorry if I was rude but your 18 by now you shouldn't have to ask these questions orrr have these problems, these are for 14 years olds

Stop staying up so late that you're so tired that you can't stay awake. Start telling him a lot earlier that you need to get ready for bed, that you love him (if you're there yet), and that you will talk to him tomorrow. If you two talk all day long, you can afford to say goodnight and hour or two earlier.

You could also tell him to get a grip. It's half his fault that you are falling asleep mid-conversation.

Just give him a heads up when you start feeling really sleepy... That is the best way to do it. Then if you don't respond he will know it's because you've fallen asleep. And if he tells you goodnight, say it back. Even if you are tired, you will make him feel allot better by simply typing out a few letters...

He sounds like a drama queen :P It's SLEEP, you need it. Both of you should be able to fall asleep whenever you want. Since he stays up to text you, tell him he doesn't have to if it just ends up causing trouble.

Tell him your getting sleepy, and be like ttyl. Easy as that, I know exactly how he feels! It really is awful when your talking to someone you care about and then you don't know if they are ignoring you or what. So just let him know when you are getting tired :)

Yeah, I've been working on that but like last night he said goodnight I guess so I just didn't respond D:- I woke up around 2am- from the message I was expecting that he was going to go to sleep but then he got mad at me- why say goodnight then stay up anyway D:

well in that case its not your fault, but he wants you to say goodnight to him as well, otherwise how does he know that you got the message? Like he may think the text didn't go through.
