How can I hide self harm cuts on my shoulder?

I self harm and I dont know how to hide it from everyone. I can't find anyone who will tell me how to hide cuts. They are all how to hide scars. If you know how to can you please tell me

Hello my dear
I am in the same situatuon as your are but dont be afraid I won't give you a "you should go talk to someone" speech because it is not in the right of me telling you do do so.

It deoends on wear on your shoulder they are. Like mine they are on my muscle area so they are much more harder to be visable if you are in that boat then plaid jackets are your new best friend. Roll up the sleeves to your elbow and you will be covered same for when you go swimming. Just swimm in the plaid.
If its on your actuall shoulder get shirts a size above your actually size so the short sleeves will be a bit longer and then the wind won't blow then up too much. If anyone asks say you are preparing a new fashion sense.

Again. I am not going to give tou a speech but I'm not trying to urge you either. I kNow what its like having parents that dont understand the dark cloud that forces us to do this to ourselves. I hope you do get better though and learn that all pain ends soon my dear.

Don't hide them. Tell someone about them. You shouldn't be harming yourself.

I can't tell someone.. My mum would be mad..

As any parent would be. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't say anything. Because one day you're going to cut yourself really bad and you're going to need medical attention. Or it'll be too late to help you. Would you rather that?

I honestly dont know. I've been bullied my whole life and my mum never cared anyway

What do you mean by sent away? Your mom won't hate you. You're her daughter. The potential of losing a child is scary

My mum has always been against self harm and suicide.. She calls everyone who self harms stupid and pathetic..

I think everyone is against self harm and suicide in one way or another. They aren't good things. People just have different ways of expressing it. Try not to worry and stress yourself out over your mom and whatever reaction she may or may not have. Instead I would focus on who you think you may tell. Maybe they'll help you tell your mom together

I just wish I wasn't so scared of her judging me. I've been self harming for 3 years and never told my family

Don't do anything you're not comfortable with okay? You don't need to tell her right away if you don't feel comfortable doing it. But you do need to tell someone

Really the only thing you can do for a cut is a bandaid. You shouldn't put makeup or anything like that on a cut as it can cause infection and even then the makeup isn't gonna cover up a cut.

Why are you self harming yourself? What's making you do it? You should speak to someone so that they can help you

Put band aids on them and say you cut yourself doing garden work or cover it with clothes.

If you cut on your shoulders (where I cut) then wear short sleeves is it's on your wrist, arm then wear bracelets or long sleeves if you like either of them then try makeup that's all I know for now
