Is 162 cm 5'3" or 5'4" ?

Question

Soo... I am confused about all of these ft and inches, we do not have them here.

According to some conversions it said 5'4"

and according to the other calculations It is 5'3"

I have no problem with that one inch XD But it confuses me, which one should I say when I am asked about my height.

one inch is 2.54 centimeters and there are 12 inches in a foot

so 5'3 is 5*12 + 3 inches = 63 inches
63 inches * 2.54 centimeters per inch = 160.02 centimeters

5'4 is 5*12 + 3 inches = 64 inches
64 inches * 2.54 centimeters per inch = 162.65 centimeters

or the other way around;

1 centimeter = 0.393701 inches

so, 162 centimeters * 0.393707 inches per centimeter = 63.780534 inches = 5 feet and 3.780534 inches

I looked at a comparison chart 1 inch is 2.54 cm So 162 cm /2.54 = 63.78 inches  63.78 rounded = 64 12 inches in a foot (5 x 12 = 60) 5 foot 4 inches

It's between 5'3" and 5'4", closer to 5'4" so I'd go with that.

There are 2.54 centimeters in an inch and exactly 12 inches in a foot. 162 centimeters equals 63.8 inches. That's 5 feet plus 3.8 inches, so 5'4" when you round it to whole inches.

I dunno lol. I think feet and inches work a lot better. It's kind of like Fahrenheit vs. Celsius.. Why do many countries rely on such an accurate measurement of length and height but not temperature?

Well technically 1 Foot is 30.48 Cms so 162cm will be around 5.31 which means 5 feet 3 inches.
